It's Been a While~!


Hello, everyone!

Me again, wanting to give a quick update and let you know that I'm still alive and kicking, working on things in the background. I've also been a bit busy with some other stuff that has kept me on my toes, but nonetheless, I've been hard at work getting things done. Mostly.

Anyways, I said a quick update, so...

I'm working on making adjustments. I'm making some big changes to the system, and once it's done, a second round of testing should start. Two specific things are how rolls work, which will still have a level of success on what you roll, but each upgrade of a stat allows for a larger die to be rolled. For example, if you have 3 points in a specific stat, you will roll a D8 instead of 3 D6s. As you can imagine, this also changes what constitutes a success, so I have been making those adjustments as well.

The other thing is skills. They will follow the same logic, and there will be more of them, including combat skills. This again will change how combat works, so I've been working on refining that as well. While it's quite the difference, this should allow it so that for each sort of action that requires a roll, players will have to roll fewer amounts of dice than before, hopefully streamlining play. 

So that's more or less it. I apologize for taking so long, but as you can imagine, it's a lot of work, on top of my other projects I'm working on. Which, if you haven't seen yet, I started a zine that has fun stories to read. Check it out! ... Please?

Anyways, this update should hopefully release in a couple of months, which I know is a lot longer than I said originally, but again, there's lots to do. Thank you for your patience and once everything is done, it'll be a much more interesting game to play. Thank you.
